Carrie is an AKBD certified kitchen designer (with NKBA) who understands that kitchens require an incredible amount of decision-making and detailed planning. Whether you plan on hiring contractors or tackling this on your own, you need a definitive plan based not only on how you want your kitchen to look, but how you want it to function for you, your family and your guests, too! As the first step of this process you’ll receive Carrie’s detailed kitchen planning questionnaire which is crucial in designing an amazing kitchen.

This option provides you with a floor plan layout denoting lighting placement and suggestions. Carrie will render elevations of your cabinetry, too. Her goal is to provide you with the tools you’ll need to get apples-to-apples bids from your contractors and cabinet resource, so that you can make smart purchasing decisions. She will also create a “concept board” including product suggestions for cabinet colors, flooring, countertops, backsplash, and plumbing fixtures.

You’ll get Carrie’s personalized attention including (3) 45-minute conference calls or Zoom video conferences to facilitate the design process. Call #1 will involve a review of your questionnaire along with specific details you’d like to share about your inspiration images. Typically Call #2 will have Carrie showing you some first draft ideas, color, materials and products. Call #3 will be a presentation of Carrie’s design concept developed specifically for your kitchen, where she will review your final floor plan and elevations.

Purchase of an Initial Consultation package is a prerequisite to any of my Design Essentials Packages.

  3. Elevations - Carrie will provide detailed elevations of your cabinetry, with specific sizes and functionality.

  4. Reference Kit - Carrie will send your documents along with color samples* to use as a reference while you bring the design to life!

  5. Budget Outline - Carrie will also create a Detailed Budget Outline specific to your space which will include all the elements that you’ll need to make it happen. Whether you plan on executing the plan yourself or hiring contractors you will have detailed and valuable information to get apples to apples bids!

  6. Additional 3-D renderings from multiple angles are available for an additional fee. Ask Carrie for details.
